What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve been cat sitting since I was a little girl, caring for neighbors’ pets. I started working as a professional cat sitter in 2016, and I’ve never looked back.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have a little zoo, and I couldn’t be happier! Their names are Little Bit, Cricket, Pippa, Clementine, Puddin, Minnie, and Penny.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I like to take things at the cat’s pace. I always maintain calm, and will start out simply being a presence in the room. I use a soft voice and talk with the intent to soothe. Then, if kitty is ready for it, I let them do the sniff test on an open palm. If we pass the test together, some gentle scritches are in order.

Her attention to detail, respect, communication, and care are all wonderful. She’s cared for my cats multiples times while I was traveling and always sends me photos and checks in with me about how they’re doing. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
