Hi, I'm Ashley! I am a cat lover, and prefer to spend my time with cats than humans. I have always had cats growing up, my parents had two boys Guido, and Luigi that lived to be 16, and 19. Now they have two sweet girls that are 10, and 2. As an adult my husband and I had a beautiful boy named Grayson for 7 years who was basically my child. From experience, I know it was difficult when I would go on vacation or out of town to find someone who could take care of him. I almost always felt anxious... Hi, I'm Ashley! So I want to help you put your anxiety at ease by being a reliable sitter who will take care of your fur baby. I will scoop litter boxes daily, and clean and change water bowls daily. I will also feed them according to their needs. If you want me there for a longer period of time, I would spend it playing or snuggling with your cat so they won't feel lonely. I'm calm and quiet so even a shy cat won't be afraid. Making friends with cats is a special skill of mine! Please reach out with any questions. I would love to meet your cat!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

First, I love to meet new cat friends! And second, I am happy to help put pet parents at ease so they can have one less thing to worry about while they are traveling.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I don't have any cats right now, but I enjoy spending time with my parents cats, Luna, and Tiger.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

First, I would like to talk to the pet parent to find out their needs and their cats needs. Second, if we agree to work together, I can visit once to be shown what the parent would like done while they are gone. I also would take a moment to get to know their cat. I am willing to come without visiting first, as long as there are very detailed instructions for me to follow.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes, I am usually available to stop in during holidays. But please note I do charge more for working during the holidays.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I like to give them their personal space. I quietly allow them time to warm up to me. I won't force them to interact with me if they are anxious. I do like to bring some cat treats to try to make them feel at ease. I am very quiet and calm so usually even if a cat is anxious about new people, it dosent take long for us to be friends.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
