I've absolutely adored these creatures since birth.
Not only are they precious in every conceivable way, I share a special bond and /or connection with felines.
I grew up in a home with a great big yard, where several mama cats felt comfortable having litter after litter there.
Aside from having cats in the home, we took good care of our wild ones.
I cannot count how many kittens I rescued from certain death, bottle fed, and cared for when mama couldn't manage.
Compassion, passion, and respect go a long way when it comes to these angelic companions.
We fostered litter after litter, and then ensured they went to loving families and some to loving farms where they were loved on, and free to roam, living their best life.
The only difficulty in this was that I do tend to get attached.
I learned early on how unique each and every cat is, and how special they are in their own adorable way.

I have a surplus of patience and compassion that is unyielding in the face of any adversity that may arrise, while caring for the most special ones.
I've always had cats.
A house without them just isn't a home, as far as I'm concerned.
I have experience in various procedures such as deworming, medications, and even skin care.
I had a profile on care.com, and took care of cats through that platform.
In addition to that, i worked in a kennel predominantly populated by dogs, but was home to one cat in particular, and various others came through.
I adore animals, but cats in particular, bring me the most joy.
I truly believe them to be angels on this earth, as they have saved my life (in a matter of speaking) on more than one occasion.
They were a huge motivator, or reason to push through and fight when everything else seemed to be falling apart.
I do love them so.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
Everything basically, and all of my life. Cat sitting through care.com, working in a kennel, and aiding and ensuring the safety of more litters than I can count
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Each cat being completely individual with own idiosyncrasies and charming habits. I really enjoy playing with them and yes even having full conversations with them. I feel i can understand them. What they're feeling at least, and that they can understand me.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
Reservation? I'm confused. Lol Is that the same as "experience"? I really enjoyed looking after the cat in the kennel, and wish my supervisors let me spend more time with him. The conditions there were somewhat cruel as far as I'm concerned, and it's partly why I left. He however, was the highlight of my every day. Even feeding and changing his litter, as it was a reason to be near him, as opposed to so many dogs. I love dogs as well, but as previously mentioned, cats... They're just my spirit animal I guess.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
