What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I've been a cat owner almost all of my adult life I enjoy gaining the trust and affection of meeting a new animal.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Every cat is different. Their personality and affection are there to be learned. Nothing that patience and a calm attitude can't overcome.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have two cats, both adopted from Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control. My black cat 🐈‍⬛️ is named Abby Normal. And my orange cat 🐈 is namedTiggs.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Meet with the person and see if you are comfortable with them. Ask them any questions that you feel you need to know. I'd suggest meeting somewhere public for a cup of coffee. This is a job interview. Do you feel that the candidate is someone you can trust with your pet(s). And with access to your home?

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes I live alone and am pretty much a home body. So aside from needing dialysis three days a week, I'm generally free, regardless of holidays.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

By not forcing my attention on a skittish cat. Offering treats with the owners permission is another way of gaining trust. Or using Roy's they like (again by conferring with the owners)

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
