My name is Kristin and I would love to be able to help care for your cat(s) when you are in need of an extra hand! I have over 17 years of experience in caring and playing with cats. I have four kitties of my own (Lucy 18, Henry 17, Oliver 8, George 3) and all with their own personalities! I adopted Lucy from a shelter when she was 3 months old. She keeps to herself mainly but she is a complete sweetheart who enjoys eating wet food the most. I adopted Henry from a shelter when he was 3 months old also. He is the only cat I have that would play fetch with a toy mouse! He thinks he's a dog, I suppose, haha. He has always loved "helping" with any task you are working on be it being under your feet while washing dishes or laying on the paper you are trying to read, haha. Henry is a big personality that greets every visitor... Hello!

Henry is a big personality that greets every visitor. I have provided both topical and oral medicine to Henry as he deals with Hyperthyroidism. I adopted Oliver when he was 6 months old also from a shelter. Oliver is not a fan of strangers and will hide instead of being seen by them. You know he loves and trusts you if he'll let you see and pet him! He loves to play with my other cat George the most. Lastly, I adopted George when he was 4 months old from a shelter. George loves to play with the cat wand with feathers on it so he can show off how high he can jump! He enjoys purring and making "biscuits" on a soft blanket next to me each night.
I have experience with giving my senior cat medicine, playing with cats, feeding dry and wet foods, providing water and litter cleaning, as well. All of which I would be glad to assist you with while you are in need of cat care. I'll provide you with updates and pictures for your peace of mind during my time with your cat(s).

Kristin made me feel confident enough about leaving my kitties to actually enjoy my vacation. I had never left them before and I knew they would be upset. Kristin did an amazing job taking care of them and making sure they were eating. She sent me so many pictures which really reassured me that they were ok. Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Greenwood cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
