I know every cat is unique and has different needs. having spent time with cats of varying personalities and ages, I am confident and comfortable taking care of your kitty given I get that information... hello!! I love cats so much and would love to have the honor of taking care of your cat in your time of sitter need. I am the go-to cat sitter amongst my friends and would love to care for more cats! I don’t have a cat currently but have a lot of cat knowledge from having cats in the past that I want to put to good use.

generally my cat sitting philosophy is the following: I am but a guest in your home and my goal is to distract and comfort your cat from the fact that their proper humans are not around, and I will do so with proper care and adequate stimulation. I will also take many photos of cat.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I cat sit for friends, usually when they’re away on weekend trips and have done so for about 4 years.
What is your favorite cat toy?
I love the ribbon on the stick, usually a rainbow ribbon but any ribbon will do. I like to slide it on the ground and get cats to pounce onto it, or just shaking it in the air and having them jump to grab it
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I think it’s most important to not make anxious cats feel cornered or even more overwhelmed, so I will give them the chance to control the situation and not force contact if they do not respond to that. I will allow your cat to come out from under the bed or wherever they may be hiding in their own time while I sit nearby and try to establish that I am a safe presence. if all else fails: treat.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
