My name is Crystal, and I’m a calm, caring, and attentive cat sitter with over 7 years of hands-on experience with cats. I’m a proud cat mom to two rescues—one I’ve had since he was a kitten (now 7 years old), and another I nursed from infancy after rescuing her as a stray (now 6 years old). I also regularly cat sit for a friend with three cats, which has given me experience caring for multiple cats with different personalities and needs.
I’m comfortable administering liquid medication, topical ointments, and flea treatments. During visits, I focus on keeping your cat’s routine as familiar and comforting as possible, including feeding, litter care, gentle play, and quiet companionship depending on their mood and comfort level.
I’m naturally patient, observant, and gentle, and I always let cats warm up at their own pace. My experience with rescue cats has taught me how to earn trust slowly and recognize subtle changes in behavior. I provide thoughtful updates and photos/videos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. Your cat’s comfort, safety, and sense of security will always come first.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have about 2 years of cat sitting that I have been doing for my friends and family whenever they’re away for work or vacation. I’m always excited to revisit the kitties and I make sure to send updates of them to their owners; whether it’s photos or videos.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
One of my favorite cat sitting experiences is when I care for my friend’s three cats while he’s on vacation. Each cat has a very different personality: one is very social, one is more independent, and one is shy and takes time to warm up. I really enjoy taking the time to interact with each of them in a way that suits their comfort level. For example, I let the shy cat approach me first instead of forcing interaction, and I focus on gentle presence so she feels safe. Over time, she has become more comfortable with me, which has been really rewarding to see. I also enjoy maintaining their routine, feeding schedules, fresh water, litter cleaning, and making sure each cat gets individual attention. I like knowing that while their owner is away, the cats still feel calm, cared for, and secure in their own home.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I do have kitties myself, they are Gary and Chichi. They both started off as strays and have been with me ever since they were little babies. Gary is now seven years old, and Chichi is 6 years old. They’re both separate personalities, so it’s always a great time getting to see how each one handles things differently or react to new situations. I couldn’t imagine them anywhere else, they have both been the perfect additions to my family.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
