I’m Stephanie, a cat mom 4! I also have 2 dogs and have never met a fur baby that I haven't been immediately crazy about. My cats age from 2 to 9yrs, with my eldest being the first cat I have owned. She turned me into the crazy cat lady that I am today!

I work full-time as an Assistant Store Manager for Kroger and live in the Lexington area. Outside of work, I love being outdoors, tending to my house plants, and reading.

I have experience with cat and dog sitting for co-workers and friends. I also have experience administering medications in a variety of forms. One of my kitties is an FIP warrior so I am very comfortable administering subcutaneous injections and oral medications.

Working retail means I am in town for major holidays and available to check in on furry friends while you’re out of town with family! Making sure your cats are happy and comfortable will be my number one priority. When I visit, I’ll make sure to refresh food/water, check litter boxes, tell your kitty how adorable they are, and send tons of picture updates so you can rest assured that they are having a pawesome time while you’re away!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I sincerely love kitties!! I always thought I was a dog person (and I do love them still) but I absolutely love that cats have such distinct personalities and choose who they want to be around. It is always a true honor when a kitty accepts my company!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have 4 kitties - Tater Tot, Eevee, Poppy, and KiKi

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I give each kitty their space and allow them to choose when they're comfortable! I have found some kitties open up more after I sit quietly with them for a couple of visits, others have opened up after offering some of their favorite treats by hand. I always bring a Churu treat to offer (with permission from kitty parents, of course) which seems to win most over! But I always let the kitties have as much space as they need to feel comfortable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
