My cats were born in my old falling down garage to a momma cat that was a neighbor that stopped taking care of her. When the babies were only hours old I brought them and momma in and they have been here ever since, ruling the roost... I LOVE cats! I have 4 of my own that live inside and I can’t help but feed several more in the neighborhood, if you come to my house and you are hungry I’m going to feed you. I also keep the backyard stocked with catnip!

Even though my cats are family I understand that each cat has their own personality and individual needs. I love everyone’s cats as they are my own. I always say I’ve never met a cat that isn’t perfect! Even if they won’t let me pet them.
I work in an assisted living facility that allows the residents to have pets, I always make sure to learn all the pet's names and try to sneak in as many pets as I can! I also know who has a cat and make sure if something happens to the resident(they may go out to the hospital) that their kitties are taken care of.
All my friends will tell you I’m the crazy cat lady! I can’t help it, they are all just so perfect!!!

Kellye made a get acquainted visit with me and Gabe, my cat. I could tell, even from that first visit that my week at a conference was going to be easier because of reliable pet sitting services. Kellye bonded quickly with Gabe and sent me messages and photos regularly. Even without her notes each day, I could tell by the photos photos that Gabe was happy and in good hands with Kellye. I would happily have Kellye back for my future times away from home.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Louisville cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $23.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Kellye was very responsive to our initial request for services and able to set up a meet and greet promptly. She is very skilled and seems to be a natural as a cat sitter/visitor. She was able to develop a rapport quickly with our three cats. She did great with keeping our guy on his meds and giving everyone a sense of ease during our time away. Gave us great updates and photos so we could keep up with them while we were gone. We will def use again and recommend to others!!
