I have cared for cats for many years as an owner and recently started cat sitting professionally, providing reliable, attentive, and compassionate care.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I enjoy getting to know each cat’s unique personality and earning their trust. It’s rewarding to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

My favorite cat-sitting reservation was caring for two sweet cats while their owner was away. I enjoyed learning their routines and personalities, spending time with them, and sending their owner photos and updates after each visit.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes! I have three cats: Luna, a 3-year-old boy; Little Boy, a 5-year-old boy; and Bird, my playful 11-month-old girl. Caring for them every day has taught me to understand different personalities, routines, and needs.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

I believe being responsible and reliable are the most important qualities in a cat sitter. Choose someone who follows instructions carefully, respects your cat’s routine, communicates consistently, and treats your pets and home with care.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I prefer to start with a meet and greet when possible so you can walk me through your cat’s feeding schedule, litter box routine, and where everything is located. If meeting in person isn’t possible, we can go over everything carefully by phone or text.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I take safety and security very seriously. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions, make sure doors and windows are secure, keep cats safely indoors, and pay close attention to their behavior and well-being. I also send regular updates and photos so owners know everything is going well.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes! I’m available for drop-in visits and overnight stays during holidays and throughout the year whenever I’m in Louisville. If I’m out of town or unavailable, I’ll block those dates on my calendar so you’ll always see my current availability.

What is your favorite cat toy?

My favorite cat toys are feather wand toys. They’re great for interactive play, exercise, and keeping cats mentally stimulated, and most cats seem to love chasing and pouncing on the feathers.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I give timid or anxious cats plenty of space and allow them to approach me at their own pace. I stay calm and patient, avoid forcing interaction, and follow their normal routine so they can gradually feel safe and comfortable with me.
