Hi there, my name is Gabbie! Cats have been a part of my life since I was a baby, starting with my childhood tortie Cleo, followed by two tuxedo siblings Max and Misty who still live with my parents. Currently, my girlfriend and I have a sassy grey tabby named Haze.

As a child, used to volunteer with my grandmother at an animal shelter where I would clean, feed, and interact with cats from kittens to seniors and it prepared me for the pet sitting I would later do.

During the day, I am a student confined to a retail job. When I’m not working, I’m usually reading with our cat or exploring nature with my girlfriend.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I cat sat regularly from 2024-2025 and am looking to get back to it! I did whole days, overnights, and morning and evening check ins.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

My girlfriend won me over with her darling kitty Haze and the rest is history. She’s my sweet and sassy daughter and I love her to bits.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I first meet with the cat family before taking them on as a client. I want to ensure all parties are comfortable and the cat is able to start to be familiar with me. Sometimes we meet several times before the actual booking to ensure the cat is comfortable. While pet sitting I make sure all doors are locked and am extremely cautious when entering and exiting.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
