I’m experienced with senior and special needs cats, including administering oral medications, topical medications, and injections. I cared for a diabetic kitty who required insulin injections for several years, and I currently give medications twice daily to one of my senior cats... I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and currently have two special needs rescue kitties who have been with me for 15 years. They are truly family to me, so I deeply understand how important it is to find someone you fully trust to care for your pets when you’re away. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your cats are safe, loved, and well cared for.
I’m experienced with senior and special needs cats, including administering oral medications, topical medications, and injections. I cared for a diabetic kitty who required insulin injections for several years, and I currently give medications twice daily to one of my senior cats. I’m comfortable providing extra support, patience, and individualized care for cats with medical or behavioral needs.
Beyond basic care, I genuinely enjoy spending quality time with cats, whether that means playtime, cuddles, companionship, or simply respecting their space and routines so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re gone.
Outside of Meowtel, I’m a Doctor of Integrative Medicine and work from home as a mental health consultant and educator, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be reliable and responsive. In my free time, I love Red Sox baseball, hiking, and exploring the city.
I’m available 7 days a week with flexible scheduling from early mornings through early evenings, and I’d love the opportunity to care for your kitties like they’re my own.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been caring for cats for over 15 years, starting with my own two special needs rescue kitties. This personal experience has given me deep insight into feline behavior and the importance of tailored care. Professionally, I’ve extended this passion to cat sitting, ensuring that each feline client receives the same level of attention and love as my own pets. I specialize in administering medications, including insulin injections, and have a calm, reassuring presence that helps even the most anxious cats feel at ease. My approach is always gentle and patient, respecting each cat’s unique personality and needs. Clients often commend my reliability, communication, and the peace of mind they feel knowing their cats are in caring hands. Whether it’s providing cuddles, managing special diets, or simply being a comforting presence, my goal is to ensure that both cats and their owners feel secure and content during their time apart.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love getting to know each my of kitty clients and all their funny kitty quirks! They’re all so different and have unique personalities, it’s such a joy to care for them all!

Dixie has charmed our cats and we love being able to vacation knowing our cats are loved and cared for. I personally struggle with my cat’s epilepsy and have a hard time relinquishing control, but Dixie is an absolute pro at communicating about my cat’s behavior and administering medication! 100000/10 would recommend her!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Charlestown cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $32.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
