My name is Lindsay. I have two cats which I have adopted from a shelter. They are the most spoiled cats around! My kitties are indoor only so I have every toy, scratching post, Lazer pointer, and tree you could think of! They are on strict diets and get plenty of play time and exercise every day. I absolutely love cats and would treat yours as if they are my own! I would love to take care of your cats and be able to give them they love they deserve while... My name is Lindsay. My cat visit would be something like this.. I would clean the litter, feed them their meals, give treats if allowed, and absolutely cuddle, pet and play with them if they like that! If they would rather I just fed them and cleaned up their bathroom that's fine too! I know how to read the room when it comes to cats and I understand some cats would rather be left alone. My Frankie is like that. He wants love on his time and he'll let me know!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been cat sitting for friends and family for years. I try to stay consistent as much as possible and go at the same time every day. I make sure water is filled, litter is clean, cats are fed and given attention if wanted. The cats I've watched have had all types of personalities. Some love to cuddle and others hide the entire time. I'll do whatever I can to make them feel safe and happy.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love making sure the cats are healthy and happy. One cat that I've sat for would hear me pulling up and greet me at the door every time. I usually stay for at least 30 min and cuddle, or talk to them.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

My favorite cat sitting reservation was for a cat named Sebastian. He was an old man and loved to cuddle. After making sure he had everything he needed I'd read a book and he'd pur in my lap. Such a sweet boy!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes! I have a black cat named Ivy who is 3 and a tabby named Frankie who is also 3.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

When I hire a cat sitter, I look to hire someone who also has cats so I know my kitties are in good hands.

I absolutely will be asking Lindsay to take care of my fur babies again! She was fantastic, and I felt so comforted knowing she was taking care of Jake and Dano while I was away. Dano is generally a timid kitty, and he warmed up to her the moment he met her. Lindsay is a treasure!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
