What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve been pet sitting on and off for about 5 years. I used to live in rural upstate New York and volunteered at a rescue that brought new kitties in almost every weekend. I used to travel to the foster’s house and spend several hours cleaning their home area and feeding and playing with the kitties who needed socialization and stimulation. It was so rewarding and sad at the same time, as they tended to be adopted out as fast as they came in!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Animals are one of the worlds best gifts. I love developing relationships with the cats and other animals I’ve sat for. I love being able to give cat parents peace of mind while they are out enjoying themselves!

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

Having a conversation about the cat’s needs and the parent’s wishes is of the utmost importance. Discussing the cat’s habits, medical needs, routine, and expectations are vital! I like to get a good understanding of what the parent needs to feel most comfortable leaving their baby in my care.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
