Dogs and cats have always been a huge part of my life growing up. I love them all, from tiny ones to gentle giants. I currently own 4 cats of my own so have a lot of experience!

I have 3 rescued kitties and one mainecoon who came from a home who couldn't take care of him. I have dealt with so many things with cats that I can handle anything with yours from medication, multiple feedings and multiple litter boxes

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have done cat sitting for over 8 years! I enjoy helping other fur parents when they are away so they don't have to worry
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
getting to spend time with furry friends. I go away sometimes too and know how important it is to have someone you trust look after your kitties.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
anything is my favorite! even if they aren't friendly. I like to know they are fed, water is changed and they are good for the day until I need to come again
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
yes, 4! Cali, Lincoln, Jersey and Stella. They are all different ages but for the most part all get along!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
don't be afraid to ask questions, and even if you are away it's ok to check in on your fur babies!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
meet and greet, getting list of how they do their day so I can try to replicate so the fur babies keep a consistent schedule
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
always walk/out in the door and make sure the door is fully closed. i'm OCD myself with my own cats so I know exactly how it feels!
Are you usually available during holidays?
yes I am local and my family is local so I am available most holidays, weekends, mornings, nights and emergencies
What is your favorite cat toy?

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
be gentle and patient. all cats are different and will take time to get them to know you so it's ok if it takes longer than normal!

This is my second time booking Ashley. I was away for 2 weeks and she went above and beyond to take care of my cat. Bear can be a little shy at first. She even picked my mail! When I got home the trash was taken out and everything was in order. I got daily pictures of Bear and was reassured he was okay. Ashley is reliable and a sweetheart. I cannot recommend her enough.

Ashley has taken care of our senior cat Rockwell a few times now and always goes above and beyond to make sure he's as happy and comfortable as possible while we're away. Rockwell needs daily medication administered manually by mouth which can be difficult, but she's had no problems making sure it gets done.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Stoneham cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $32.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

I cannot recommend Ashlee enough!! I was so anxious about leaving my two senior cats to go on vacation but Ashlee provided me with frequent updates and photos that put me at ease while I was away. I came home to two healthy, happy kitties, clean litter boxes and full food and water bowls. If she’s up for it, I’ll definitely ask for her help again next time I’m going out of town!
