I am a cat paret myself and understand how daunting it can be to find the right person to check on your kitties while away... Hello! My name is Sammi, I’ve been a huge animal lover my whole life but especially cats. I’ve lived with and cared for my pet cats since I was a kid. I currently have 3 kitties, and have also fostered and help my friends adopt their feline friends. I have had so many wonderful fur babies in my life that made coming home so much brighter and happier. It is a joy to meet other cat owners and their lil guys!
I am a cat paret myself and understand how daunting it can be to find the right person to check on your kitties while away. I often cat sit for friends and family and was recently recommended to sign up on here. With my past experience, I enjoy taking lots of pictures and videos during visits, as well as sending daily updates. My cats have had their fair share of medication, so I am comfortable giving most types of meds. I have worked with both social and shy cats and know how to navigate when cats hide or don’t like strangers in their home. Every cat deserves great care.
My ultimate priority is for you to focus on your trip away from home and rest assured your feline friend(s) are doing well and sticking with their routines. I will make sure to set expectations with you on timing and schedule, as well as confirm any details about your cat’s schedule for the best of care.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I truly adore cats and love seeing all their different personalities. It’s fun to meet cats and hang out with them. Then when I get home, my kitties can sniff and judge all the other cat hair on my clothes haha.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes I do! I have Tommy (2), Iris (7), and Mr.Sullivan (15). Sully was my second cat ever when I adopted him 14 years ago after he was saved from a high kill shelter. Iris is my girl with “tortie-tude”, a rehome rescue. Tommy is my newest adoptee, a black cat from Texas!
What is your favorite cat toy?
I grew up watching “My Cat from Hell”, hosted by cat behavioral therapist Jackson Galaxy - and I still watch his YouTube channel today! Galaxy emphasizes the importance of having an interactive toy that can move and make sound or is the right size for a cat to kick or bite. I got my cats an interactive toy that has a feather that spins around and then pops out of holes sporadically. My youngest cat loves it and gets super into it when it detects motion.

If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Worcester cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
