I've grown up around cats my entire life, and I greet every cat I meet with the enthusiasm of a kid on Christmas morning.
I have a sassy tuxedo girl named Licorice and a classic orange boy named Butterscotch. They've figured out how to train me just as much as I've trained them, lol! Even though they're siblings, they couldn't be more different. Licorice is my shy, picky eater, while her brother Butterscotch is the outgoing, instant friend-maker who is ready to eat anything that may or may not be edible.

I've used fellow Meowtel sitters to take care of Licorice and Butterscotch in the past, so I know how much peace of mind matters when you’re away from home! I work professionally in hospitality and events, so being dependable, communicative, organized, and respectful of other people’s spaces is already a huge part of my everyday life.
I’m the person who wants the detailed instructions: feeding routines, favorite hiding spots, which toy is THE toy, and whether your cat prefers immediate friendship or requires that I politely pretend they don’t exist for the first 20 minutes.
I occasionally travel for work, so my availability varies week to week. But when I’m home, I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which means I’m often available for weekday mornings, midday visits, afternoons, and other times that can be tricky to find coverage for.
During visits, I’m happy to handle meals, fresh water, litter, medication as your vet directs, and of course plenty of playtime, cuddles, and photo updates. 🐈⬛

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I want to know all the little details! Walk me through your cat’s normal routine, feeding schedule, favorite toys, hiding spots, quirks, and your house rules. For example, I have to feed my Licorice on top of her favorite stool to protect her from her brother eating her leftovers... but I also can't face the stool toward the patio window or the squirrels will distract her and she'll forget to eat. There will NEVER be a rule that is too “weird” for me! I’d rather have too much information than not enough. My goal is to keep things as familiar and predictable as possible while you’re away.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I treat someone else’s home the way I’d want a sitter to treat mine! If you think your kitty is a potential escape artist, I can ninja my way through your front door. I’ll follow instructions closely and double-check food, water, litter, and even your thermostat to make sure everyone is secure and comfy before I leave. I’m pretty observant and quick on my feet! If anything ever seems unusual with your cat or your home, I’ll communicate with you right away.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
As the parent of a shy kitty myself, I’m very comfortable letting cats set the terms of our friendship! I won’t force attention or pull a nervous cat out of their safe space. I’m perfectly happy sitting nearby and offering treats or toys until curiosity wins. Earning the trust of a shy cat is extra rewarding, and I have a pretty great success rate! ❤️

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
