Offering over 30 years of experience especially with the Persians and Himalayan breeds... I am professional Pet Sitter certified by IAP College as well as Pet CPR Certified by the American Heart Association. Formally on the board of Maryland Votes for Animals in the role of Volunteer Coordinator. Currently working in a healthcare clinic in Human Resources in an HR Generalist role for 11 years.
Offering over 30 years of experience especially with the Persians and Himalayan breeds. While I love all animals I have a passion for felines and senior cats too!
If you are like me it is very difficult to leave them for any amount of time and if you do you must have peace of mind that they are being cared for just as well as you take care of them everyday.
My services include daily communication by way of pictures, videos and I also like to offer FaceTime if you have separation anxiety like I do when I leave my fur baby and luckily he understands the virtual thing and looks at and listens to the phone when we are on camera!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been pet sitting for over 4 years now. I currently offer visits as well as overnights if requested. All the clients have multiple cats and I do my best to cater to each one of their special personalities!
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Developing a bond with the cats so that they feel absolutely comfortable in my care. I like to pet, brush and play with the toys for those fur babies that like to have fun!
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I have a client Peaches and Herbie one is a Maine Coon and the other is a long hair tortie. They get so excited every time I come over which is twice a day they come running to the door and are waiting for me every time! Peaches is very shy in the beginning but I spoke to her softly and now she talks to me the whole time I’m there and just spending time with them brings me joy!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes, I have a senior cat Noah he is a blue point Himalayan with big blue eyes he is my rock!
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am available on most holidays unless on the rare occasion I am out of town. My visits may be somewhat limited to a specific time based on availability.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
With kindness, care and patience. Communicate in a soft calming voice to gain their trust and provide a safe environment and hopefully gently pet them!

Michelle will take excellent care of your pets! Two of my cats need medicine and Michelle is right on schedule with giving them their medications. She gives me the ease of mind that my fur babies will be well cared for while I am out of town. She will text you pictures of your pets and she does video calls so you can see them. Michelle is so caring and loving! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great pet sitter!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.
Parkville cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
