Hello! I moved back to Maine in 2020 and am happy to be able to provide services here! I was a volunteer at the San Diego Humane Society for 3 years; I worked with cats on the adoption floor and with difficult cats in the behavior center. I have been cat sitting for 19 years and have experience caring for cats on special diets, giving insulin shots, and giving medications in any form. I am certified in cat CPR/First Aid. I worry about my cats when I travel, so I understand wanting to find someone you can trust to watch your cats. I will provide you with many pictures and updates. This is the second time Jen has taken care of my kitties while I'm on vacation. The first time was an amazing experience, but this one -- it may be the best service I've ever had... ever anywhere. Her communication is top-notch, with lots of information and messages about how my little cat monsters are doing, how much they ate, cat box concerns, and just plenty of details to help me feel connected to them while I'm away. Beyond that she sent lots of pictures and videos that showed how much fun she was having with the kitties and how much fun they were having with her. One of my kitties is shy and didn't interact much with Jen the first time she helped out, but this time my shy little princess kitty was fully engaged and excited to play and show Jen around the house. Lastly, both times Jen has taken care of the kitties they have been in a great space when I returned and there was none of the usual distance they exhibit when I've left them for days. I cannot recommend her enough. Single best service I've ever experienced -- and that matters to me because these are my little babies.

I could not recommend Jen more. She truly went above and beyond to make sure our cats were cared for and comfortable. We were uneasy after a bad prior experience with a different person and we had to go out of town for medical reasons, so we were very nervous. Jen immediately abated any concerns by giving thorough and regular updates with pictures and quickly earning the trust of all of our cats. She took extra care to make sure their food and water stayed fresh, quickly adapted when one of our litter robots had errors, and even checked on the cats during a bad storm (and brought in and saved some soaked packages). She spent time with each of our cats and played with them. It was clear that this was the best experience our cats have ever had with us out of town, and I am so grateful.

Jen was just awesome. My cats have always had family take care of them whenever I go anywhere, so I was unsure what this experience would be like. Right from the "meet & greet" I felt confident in Jen, though, and after this trip I am certain that my confidence was not misplaced. Her daily messages were wonderful - detailed, contained stories about the kitties along with pictures of them, info about the food and water they ate, and specifics about when she'd be back to see them again. She played with them, brushed them, and just did a phenomenal job and I am very appreciative. And the best part is, when I returned, my little cat monsters were happy and friendly and didn't show any signs of feeling like I had neglected them by going away for a couple days (as they have at times in the past). I will certainly be asking Jen if she'll help for all of my future trips!!!

Jen did a great job with our kitties! They were in a new home and were slightly nervous at first (their owners too!). She sent detailed updates, photos, and paid very close attention to detail. Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee
We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
