Growing up I my family regularly fostered cats and kittens, so caring for felines of all ages personality and backgrounds has always come to me naturally. From energetic kittens to shy senior cats Iāve learned that every cat is unique and deserves patience, understanding, and individual care... Hello Everyone! Iām Filsan and I have had cats my whole life plus having one currently.
Growing up I my family regularly fostered cats and kittens, so caring for felines of all ages personality and backgrounds has always come to me naturally. From energetic kittens to shy senior cats Iāve learned that every cat is unique and deserves patience, understanding, and individual care.
My love for cats also became part of my volunteering as I have tried volunteering around Portland and helping my cousins with their own cat. With that I have gained expierience with comforting anxious cats. I recognized changes in behavior to remain calm under pressure, and proved companionate care when cats need it the most.
I recently graduated and am excited to get back into cat sitting something Iāve genuinely missed. Whether your cat loves to play, prefers quiet companionship, or just needs someone reliable to stick to their routine, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while youāre away.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Iāve always loved being around cats, and cat sitting gives me the chance to spend time with them. Between classes and internships I usually donāt, so now Iāve chosen to wait until i grauduated to give my own the attention and long-term commitment they deserve. In the meantime, I love getting to know each catās unique personality!!Itās honestly the best of both worlds because I get to do something I genuinely love while helping give pet owners peace of mind.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
My process always starts with communication. Before the first visit, I like to learn about your catās routine, personality, favorite toys, feeding schedule, medications (if any), and any specific preferences or tasks youād like me to take care of. I also ask about anything youād prefer I avoid so I can provide care exactly the way youāre comfortable with.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! Iām generally very flexible during the holidays. As a recent grad , I have more time off for holidays, which gives me greater availability when many pet parents are traveling. If youāre planning a trip, Iād be happy to discuss your dates and do my best to accommodate your catās care needs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Portland cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
