What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love knowing that I’m giving families peace of mind and the ability to enjoy their time away from home! I want you to have a guilt-free trip knowing that your furry family member(s) are being well cared for!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes! My cats Bonsai and Bisquick bring so much joy to my life! They are Siberian cats, and sisters from the same litter. They are so curious and energetic! One of my favorite things they do is when they insist on smelling each ingredient while I’m cooking. I call them my little sous-chefs!

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

We’ll schedule a complimentary “Meet and Greet” with you and your cat(s). This visit is all about making sure that I’m the right fit, and that you feel confident having me look after your furry family members! I will have read your cat’s profile in advance, and ask follow up questions during our visit to make sure I fully understand your cat’s needs, routines, and preferences.

Are you usually available during holidays?

This depends on the holiday, but I keep my availability up to date! I do not charge holiday surge pricing.

What is your favorite cat toy?

I love when a cat has a nontraditional favorite toy! My cats Bisquick and Bonsai love the pull tabs from my milk jugs and sticky notes (very cute) and Bisquick loves chewing on the silicone band of my running watch (slightly less cute).

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

With new cats, I follow their lead by letting them initiate pets, and I pay careful attention to their body language to make sure they aren’t overstimulated or anxious. I don’t rush or force them to accept pets or being picked up. I’ll speak in gentle, calming tones and move slowly. With a longer visit, I’ll sit for awhile to let them grow accustomed to me, perhaps with a toy or treat to make my presence a bit more intriguing. Some cats will prefer to remain out of sight or out of reach, and that’s totally okay, too!

Abigail was so lovely! She communicated well, provided timely updates consisting of photos and video, and made good friends with my cats in only a short amount of time. My auto feeder jammed while I was away, and she even offered to troubleshoot it for me. Would absolutely book with her again!

Abigail watched my two cats for a long weekend getaway. My cats have specific dietary needs and one is special needs with having 3 BBs in her still from when she was a kitten that can’t be removed. Abigail did great playing with them, feeding and caring for them. She sent messages and photos on each visit. I didn’t have to stress.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our Meowtel Protection Plan in the event that things don't go as planned.
