Cat Sitting in Minneapolis, MN
In addition to doting on my own cats, I work at a cat boutique store in St. Paul and in my spare time, I help out at Feline Rescue as an Enrichment Volunteer where I provide opportunities for shelter cats to relieve stress through play, petting, training, scent enrichment, etc. I have a certificate in Cat First Aid and Fear Free Shelter Training. I also run my own small business where I create and sell snuffle mats and toys designed specifically for cat... I share my home with 3 amazing cats and we love exploring how much cats are capable of together! We do a lot of clicker training, collaborative care training, cat agility work, harness and leash training, cat nosework, interactive play, foraging and food puzzles, and one of my cats, Ember, has even learned to communicate using “talking” AIC buttons.

I’m no stranger to caring for kitties and exploring many different ways to enrich their lives. I am an expert at interactive playtime with a wand toy, am experienced teaching kitties using positive reinforcement and clicker training, and have lots of creative forms of scent, auditory, and visual enrichment for bored kitties. I also love winning over shy kitties and showing them that I'm someone they can trust and feel safe with.
What you can expect from me when I care for your kitties:
- I will interact with your kitties in the way they prefer, whether that means cuddle time, play time, simply hanging out together, or a mix thereof
- I'll provide fresh water and food for them according to your instructions
- I'll thoroughly clean all litterboxes each visit and sweep/vacuum any stray litter
- I will clean up any accidents or hairballs and notify you of any health concerns
- I can bring in your mail and/or packages and water plants as directed
- I will send you detailed updates of how your kitties are doing with video and photos from each visit so you can be reassured your fur babies are healthy and happy

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Minneapolis cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Katie was wonderful to work with! she sent detailed updates, photos, and videos with each visit! My cat is a grumpy old lady who doesn't like new people, but Katie did a great job trying to get her to warm up to her and get her to take her medications without stressing her out too much. Katie also went above and beyond by checking on my pet jumping spiders and giving them water 2x a day! I will definitely be booking with Katie again!
