Cats are not only my passion, but the creatures I enjoy caring for and being around most. I grew up having cats, and also rescuing and raising foster cats- doing everything from euthanasia shelter rescue, fostering and bottle feeding newborn kittens without a mother, to TNR.

While living in California I rescue adopted my current two cats, Berry (2) and Cream, (1 and a half). Both were rescued from unsafe situations. I consider myself very lucky to spend my days with them at home. When Cream was only a few weeks old, (he was abandoned at only two weeks) he was diagnosed with Panlukopenia virus. I hadn’t dealt with this before. He had a poor prognosis, given his age and therefore lack of vaccine against it, he had a 10% chance of survival... Cats are not only my passion, but the creatures I enjoy caring for and being around most. I was devastated, but I quickly educated myself, with much help from our vet, on the best ways I could care for him.
I administered medication orally as well as tube feeding and under the skin fluids.
Though this was one of the scariest times in my life of caring for cats, I am so grateful to say that he pulled through. He is now healthy, happy, and almost 2 years old! The joy I felt knowing that I contributed to saving his life has never left me.
I believe all cats deserve love, care, and a chance even when it looks like they have none.

Outside of my own cats, I worked at Crumbs & Whiskers cat cafe in Los Angeles part time as a Lead Host. There I got to meet, care for, and help cats get adopted into the best possible homes. I also was able to educate children and people with little cat experience on proper ways to interact with cats.

I am currently located in South Uptown and have flexible availability and hours! I am also able to travel for sitting services.

I love spending holidays with cats! Typically I am here for every holiday with minimal plans. Holiday season is my most booked and busy time!

Sofie was an excellent cat sitter! She sent status reports and pictures daily. She also went above and beyond in cleaning up after the kitties. My normally shy cat enjoyed lots of play time and brushing. Both cats were lovingly cared for. I highly recommend Sofie, and would absolutely hire her again.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
