What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have sat semi-regularly for several repeat clients over the last four years. Each of the cats had completely different personalities, needs, and medications, and I enjoyed learning how to accommodate each of them individually.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I make it a rule to always know where the cats are, even if I know they are just sleeping. I am very paranoid about checking doors, windows, and any other escape hazards, or heated surfaces. I make sure to give a stressed cat plenty of space and as much time as they need to get accustomed to me, and I never hurry in case the cat feels like darting under my feet!

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes, I rarely travel for major holidays, as most of my family is in the immediate area, so I would generally be available to sit during those times.

Clara was AMAZING with our 2 kitties. 1 of our cats has medical needs and required an inhaler, which was no problem for her to do. She really took the time to get to know their routine and their individual quirks. Clara was very organized and messaged us consistently with updates while we were away. We were very happy with how she took care of our pets, and our cats really liked her as well. She was really great!!

Her communication was excellent over the whole two weeks I was away. She sent an update each day and was always quick to respond. I would definitely book Clara again!

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
