If you want to hire me to sit your cat, I will firstly make sure they have their basic needs met: food, water, litter change, and we... I have had experience caring for many cats of my own over the years, including one at my own place of residence. I understand, as any other cat other knows, that cats choose when and how they want to play, and for how long they want to! But I am always attentive to what a cat needs at any given time.
If you want to hire me to sit your cat, I will firstly make sure they have their basic needs met: food, water, litter change, and welcoming pets. I will then make sure I attend to their needs as you require for your cat, from scheduled play times, brushings, to anything else.
Personality-wise, I suppose I am like a cat myself: knowing when I want to be on my own or in spaces with others. I also love to engage in the arts, from reading books, listening to music, and watching movies to visiting museums and going to local music shows when I have the opportunity!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I currently have two cats. Well, one is my “family cat” Andy, who lives with my mother, but she insists that he’s my cat since I’m always there to check on and play with him. We’ve had him in our care for about 9 years, since he was a kitten! The other cat is just named Kitty, and she lives at my current residence. I’ve had her for over a year, and she’s such a rascal, waiting around corners to pounce on me and playing with anything she can get her hands on! She’s my number one source of entertainment at my place.
What is your favorite cat toy?
My favorite cat toy I use to play with cats is a small plush animal on a string. My cat Kitty absolutely adores whenever I drag it around corners or above her for her catch. It also gives her the reward of being able to chew and play with it whereas a laser pointer doesn’t have that advantage.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
When a cat is anxious, I make sure to give them their space to relax, without stimulating them any more than they already are. Sometimes my cat will become overwhelmed when playing, so I make sure to back away whenever she becomes anxious.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
