What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I know how hard it is to have to leave a pet when traveling / on vacation. Our cat sitter is so sweet and sends us videos when she visits Lewis. It makes my family so happy to see our cat playing and receiving affection when we’re gone. It made me want to sign up to be that comfort for others!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I had a cat growing up I loved very much! Now, I am part owner of a family cat, Lewis, who lives in California with my parents. My mom sends me pictures and videos of him every day and I always look forward to visiting!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I’ve always been pretty attuned to animal behavior, and dogs and cats espeixallly because I’ve always had them growing up. I approach new animals slowly, and low to the ground. For timid or anxious animals, I generally don’t directly approach, but instead might just sit down a safe distance away, and wait for the cat to feel comfortable enough with my presence. Always move slowly, and wait to be approached.

We couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter. She is incredibly reliable and dependable — we always feel completely at ease knowing our cat is in her care. Her communication is outstanding, and she sends the most heartwarming, detailed updates after each visit that truly brightens our day. She follows instructions carefully and pays close attention to detail, including administering supplements exactly as requested. It’s clear she genuinely cares — not just about completing the visit, but about making sure our cat feels safe, comfortable, and loved. She takes the time to play with them and give them much needed love and attention. Our cat absolutely adores her — you can tell they sense she’s a true cat lover. She consistently goes above and beyond, and we are so grateful to have found someone we trust completely with our fur baby and in our home. Highly, highly recommend!

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
