Hello! Do you need someone with a watchful experienced eye to care for your fur-baby? I believe I could be a great fit for you as a cat sitter! I currently have two cats of my own that are almost the center of my world. One of my cats has been diagnosed with FIV and requires a lot of attention to her health. We currently have to give her a liquid medication orally with a syringe but have in the past given her ear drops, eye drops, and pills hidden in miscellaneous food items. I aim to create a trusting atmosphere when it comes to watching your cat(s). I understand the comfort and trust required to leave your cat(s) for more than a day. I want to help you feel confident in my ability to watch your cat(s) and to keep you updated on my visits with them. I will send photos and videos as well as an update on each of my visits. I will also ensure that their litterbox stays clean and their water bowl full. Food and medication will be given as you direct and play time and cuddles will always be provided.

I am currently a stay-at-home mom with a toddler, infant and two cats. This means my schedule is pretty rigid. Something close to home would work best. My limit to sitting your furry friend is the Missoula city limits. I will consider towns near Missoula so feel free to ask. 😊

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been cat sitting with Meowtel for roughly 4 years now and have been having a blast! I love connecting with new kitties and their parents!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have two kitties, Rogue and Saiph. They are polar opposites but I love them both for their uniqueness. Rogue is a standard cat, you get to pet her on her terms, string toys are the bees knees, cautious of what she eats, hides when new people are around. Saiph is more like a dog ... Her favorite person tends to be the newest one in the room, she likes car rides, being walked on a leash, and will eat anything that smells remotely interesting.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I ensure safety and security of the kitties I'm sitting by making sure I see them each visit. I also treat them all as if they're escape artists when I'm entering and exiting the homes. I pick up anything that is a risk for that specific household or that make me nervous. Whether it's paper towels that a kitty likes to eat, a string toy that may be problematic, or bags of food/treats a kitty is notorious for getting into.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I let all kitties introduce themselves to me. I try to encourage them to approach me and allow them to do so on their own terms and no matter how long it takes.

Bailey was great! She promptly replied and was very flexible with a short notice meet & greet and sitter request. Bailey did a great job of keeping us updated on everything about our two kittens with detailed messages and photos. She followed all of our instructions and made sure our kittens were well taken care of while we were away. We would absolutely recommend Bailey!

Bailey's love for felines was obvious as soon as she came to our house and assessed Bo's needs. When visiting Bo while we were gone, she gave us immediate feedback and photos, putting our minds at ease that Bo was well taken care of. Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
