Cat Sitting in Burlington, NC

Hi, I’m Ena! 🐈‍⬛🖤

I’m originally from Japan 🇯🇵, and I’ve been a cat mom since high school, when I rescued a tiny black kitten who had absolutely no intention of making my life easy. She is now 17 years old, living with FIV, and still very much in charge of everything!

She has needed daily medication, eye drops, and round-the-clock care for literally her entire life. Over the years we are talking antibiotics, pills, liquids, eye drops, and yes, I have suctioned her nose. Multiple times. With a straight face. 😀😀

She has opinions about everything. Food, routines, life choices. I learned to work around all of them! Fifteen years of being trained by a cat. All experience, zero classroom 😉

After moving to the US, I adopted a second black cat, the last one left, sitting alone, waiting...

She has opinions about everything. Food, routines, life choices. I learned to work around all of them! Fifteen years of being trained by a cat. All experience, zero classroom 😉

After moving to the US, I adopted a second black cat, the last one left, sitting alone, waiting. I could not walk away. Black cat. Clearly, the universe has a type. 🖤🖤

So yes, I have two rescued black cats, one senior and medically fragile, one chaotic and young. Whatever your cat needs, however particular they are, bring it on. I am ready!

I would love to hear all about your cat. Seriously, tell me everything. The quirks, the favorite spots, the dramatic backstory. I am here for all of it.

- 💞Senior/Special needs cats have a very special place in my heart. If your cat is older, medically complex, or just a little extra, please reach out! That is exactly my kind of cat 😸

- 📸I am also a catographer 🐈 💕So expect a LOT of photos during every visit. Like, a lot. Your cat will be a star whether they like it or not 👀

My Qualifications:
Senior Cat Tested. Senior Cat Approved.
Kitten Certified Since 2026. Still Expanding. 😸🐾

Curious? Send me a message! I promise I will ask you approximately one million questions about your cat.

Lots of love and purrs,
Ena 🐈‍⬛🖤

Learn More About Ena

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I started cat sitting when I was in college, taking care of my friends' cats in Japan. I’ve been doing it for several years. After moving to the U.S., I continued to care for my own two female cats 17 years old and a kitten. I’m experienced with special-needs and senior cats, offering careful and attentive care

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

In March 2026, I rescued another black cat. Her name is Uni — Japanese for “sea urchin” and honestly, she totally looks like one! 🦔🐈‍⬛

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

When working with a new cat parent, I start by learning about their cat—asking about likes, dislikes, and anything that helps ensure a stress-free experience for the cat. I then listen carefully to the pet parent’s requests, including how they would like me to interact with their cat. If there are any questions or concerns, I encourage open communication and make sure to respond quickly to ease any worries.😺

Are you usually available during holidays?

I am typically available during holidays! I understand the importance of reliable care for your cat during special times, and I’m happy to accommodate your schedule. Feel free to reach out, and I’ll do my best to assist with your holiday pet care needs 💖

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.

Burlington cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet!
