What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love meeting each cat and really getting to know them. Every cat has a distinctive personality, and I enjoy establishing a connection with the cats I take care of and learning all about them and what makes them unique!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have 3 cats! Mouse is 20 years old and I’ve had him since I was very young (I’m the one who named him!). Archie is 9 years old and I met him while volunteering at the animal shelter in 2022. Lexie is our newest addition, she is 3 and loves to play!

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

Each visit, I make sure I see all the cats are accounted for and are behaving normally. I am very careful when entering and exiting the house to ensure the cats can’t get out. I always make sure every door is locked before I leave, and I bring in any mail or packages so they won’t get taken. I keep track of the house key to ensure that I never lose it or get locked outside.

Anna was great with Jewel and had flexible availability. She was able to come by twice a day while we were out of town and sent through updates. We were camping with unpredictable cell service, but Anna would reach out multiple times to make sure we received the updates. I able to relax on our trip because I felt Jewel was in good care.

Pet sitter was communicative and friendly with cats. Had a few hiccups with the cats and some car trouble. Anna was accommodating and took good care of cats. However, the trip and recent move ended up stressing out my cats and we had to go to the vet. Overall, good cat sitter!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
