I have a very flexible working schedule and can accommodate most requests. I am professional, courteous, and loving towards all animals. Pets are so unassuming and love us regardless of our bad days. Hi, I am Hilary- a Professional and Loving Cat Mom! I have flexibility in scheduling and can adjust for most requests. I'm pet CPR and first aid certified and insured. I’ve had kitties who are pretty shy or cautious, warm up to me pretty quickly. I have lots of fail - safe strategies to allow kitties to feel comfortable and confident. My experience lends itself to kitties of all ages and diagnoses.

When I take care of your kitty, it's like spending time with grandma or mom#2. :) They will be in excellent care. No judgement if you want a million pictures - because I want that myself🤓🥰. I will spend adequate time with your pet and give them lots of praise.
Before setting a reservation with me you can expect that I will:

My experience with senior pets and also medications:
My cats take allergy medications and I have cared for a family's cat taking daily steroid pills. I also administer pills by hand to my dog, Halle. We always follow these times with treats and love.
I have witnessed how aging can change the movement and sometimes personality of our pets. My senior kitty of 12 years- passed recently and I empathize what it's like taking care of pets with illness. If you need support in the process of caring for pets as they age, I'm here for you.

I loved receiving regular updates and photos, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. My cat was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when I returned. Hilary did an amazing job caring for our 3 cats while we were on vacation. Our cats can be very shy and she was able to get them to all come out and play with her after a few visits. She kept me updated the entire time and sent lots of pictures after each visit. She left everything clean and tidy and went above and beyond. Having Hilary watch the cats gave us the peace of mind that they would be well cared for while we were gone. She is amazing! We will definitely be booking her again whenever we need a cat sitter 💗

Hilary watched our three cats while we were out of town and she did an amazing job as always! Our kitties tend to be shy and rarely come out when people come to visit, but they came out to say hi immediately and they were so happy to see her again. She played with them and gave them lots of treats and they LOVED having her there. The pictures and updates she sent us were adorable. Hilary does an amazing job and I can’t recommend her enough!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Charlotte cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Hilary is amazing!! She attended to all my needs for my kitties Wasabi and Oreo while I was away traveling for 5 days and handled everything exactly as I asked !!! She sent frequent and prompt updates and my cats bonded with her right away due to her sweet demeanor ( she shared a video ) she even juggled a slight mishap of door keypad mishap and switching up the plan to use my garage door to enter the home , she is thorough , attention to detail and very caring . I needed a last-minute caretaker for my 2 cats who are used to being with people all the time--but don't get along with each other. Hilary did a great job taking care of feeding, scooping litter boxes, etc, but most importantly, she spent lots of 1-on-1 time with each kitty making sure they both felt safe and loved while I was away. She is trustworthy, reliable, and kind, and I am grateful for the time and attention she spend with my girls.
