I am a passionate, lifelong cat lover ready to provide your feline family members with the highest standard of care. Growing up on a farm in Washington State, I learned the responsibility of animal husbandry early on, and I have dedicated my life to the well-being of animals ever since. Today, I am proud to share my home with two resident cats while actively fostering litters and volunteering at local shelters.

Because of my extensive history with rescue and senior animals, I am entirely comfortable administering all forms of medication, including oral liquids, and pills. Whether your cat requires a strict medical routine or is recovering from surgery, you can rest assured they are in highly capable hands.

As a 35 year old military veteran, I bring a deeply disciplined, structured approach to pet sitting. I believe in being exceptionally reliable, always on time, and thoroughly over prepared for any situation. Your home's security and your cat’s unique routine are my top priorities. I look forward to giving your cats the attentive, loving, and premium care they deserve while giving you complete peace of mind while you are away!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

While I am officially launching my professional cat sitting journey now, I have a lifetime of intensive, hands-on experience caring for cats. I grew up on a farm in Washington State where animal care was a daily responsibility, and I have owned cats my entire life. Over the years, I have cared for felines in a wide variety of environments, including managing my own resident cats, actively fostering litters, and volunteering at local shelters. Because many of my own pets have required significant medical care over the years, I am highly experienced and confident in administering all forms of medication, including oral liquids, and pills. I treat every cat with the same high level of care, structure, and medical attention I give my own.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

What I enjoy most is building trust with different feline personalities and providing peace of mind to their owners. Every cat is unique some are outgoing and playful, while others are timid and need space. I love reading their body language, earning the trust of a shy cat on their own terms, and ensuring their daily routine is completely undisturbed. As a military veteran, I take my responsibilities incredibly seriously. Knowing that a cat parent can travel without stress because they know their home is secure and their pet is receiving disciplined, loving, and over prepared care is incredibly rewarding to me.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

My process is built on clear communication, thorough preparation, and keeping your cat's routine completely seamless. It begins with a relaxed Meet and Greet where we go over your cat's unique personality, dietary preferences, medical needs, and favorite hiding spots, as well as where you keep supplies and how you prefer your home accessed. Once bookings begin, I am always precisely on time. During each visit, I follow your care instructions to the letter, make sure the feeding and litter areas are clean, and send you a detailed update with photos so you can see how well they are doing. My goal is to follow your established routine perfectly so you can travel with complete peace of mind.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.

Durham cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet!
