With that comes the understanding that all animals are different and cats can be especially hard to read. I like to make sure I fully understand a cats needs and wants before entering a home. The cats I've had in my life have had stark personality traits so I find it best to learn as much as I can about them as possible and then meet them where they are. I love animals in general and believe that they all deserve the best. While cats happen to be my favorite, I plan to do my best in making sure your cat feels comfortable and loved while you are away.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love seeing the different personalities cats can have. Some are skittish and will only approach in very calm settings. Some want attention right away. And all of them are adorable.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I currently have a 3yr old calico named Puddin. She is a chewer herself so I've learned to give her more toys she can handle and as much attention as I can afford to keep her energy levels in check. I just lost one of my babies Bella she was a Gray Tabby. I had her since I was little and she was the start of my love for cats. I loved her til the end... health issues and all...

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Simply to make sure that you advise your sitter on any notable traits your cat has. If you can let them meet your cat while your around. Sometimes strangers can be scary for cats. I know Puddin, my cat, hates when I'm not home and anyone that comes around while I'm away is not welcome unless she knows them already.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
