Communication is very important to me, and I’m always happy to provide updates, photos, and videos during visits whenever possible... Hi there! My name is Jaiden Goss, and I’m a full-time Art Education student at ECU living in Wendell, NC. I started cat sitting for family friends almost 3 years ago and quickly grew a small independent business that allowed me to meet many new fur-friends while helping families feel confident their cats were receiving loving care during vacations, busy schedules, or time away from home.
Communication is very important to me, and I’m always happy to provide updates, photos, and videos during visits whenever possible.
My typical visits include:
• Scooping the litter box
• Cleaning out trash
• Refreshing food and water
• Playtime and enrichment
• Cuddles and attention (if your kitty wants them!)
• Plenty of conversation and companionship
I’m also happy to help with small household tasks such as bringing in mail, taking out trash, or basic house refreshing while you’re away. If there’s something specific you need, feel free to ask!
If your cat has dietary restrictions or requires medication, I’m comfortable providing that care as well. My own cats are not fans of medicine, so I understand the patience and gentleness it can take. I’ll always do my best to provide the exact care your kitty needs during every visit.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
My favorite cat sitting reservation was with a kitten named Maple. I had the opportunity to regularly visit her and we had a really amazing connection. She would run up and down the hallway for almost my entire visit chasing after a stuffed deli sandwich. When it was time for me to go she would curl up on my lap making it so hard to leave!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two cats of my own: Katya (F, 4), whom I adopted from the SPCA of Wake County, and Remington (“Remi”) (M, 2), who I rescued from a water drain last April! I truly love them like family.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! I have pet sit during past holidays. I stay in the triangle with my family during this time and am flexible to still show up whenever needed!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I treat timid or anxious cats with all the respect and space they need. My own cat, Katya, was so anxious after her adoption she hardly came out from under my bed for a whole month! I provided her with everything she needed during this time so that she was comfortable being independent, but she knew she was getting cared for. I would do the same for any cat.

she took such good care of our cats while we were gone and provided lots of updates and pictures and it took all the stress off of me. I also appreciated how clean their litter areas were once we got back and that it wasn’t something we had to immediately take care of after a long drive back home. my cats were very comfortable and loved on while we were gone

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Wendell cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
