I want to help you kitties feel happy and taken care of as best I can. I also realize many kit... I grew up with 4 cats over my childhood and even helped one of them give birth to a litter of kittens! I lived with a partner for 3 years and we co-parented her three cats togther.

I’m a chill, bookish introvert and I would for sure be a cat if I were any animal. I like drinking hot tea on a rainy day with a good book in my hand and ideally a cat on my lap!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ll be new to this app, but have helped friends sit their cats whenever they travel/go home. I enjoy helping out a fellow cat lover take care of their best friend!
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Just to be around cats! I’m a fairly introverted and bookish guy who enjoys peace and quiet in my downtime. Looking to help out kitties and their parents
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I helped out a friend who had several cats— the girl kitty was very spooked by men for the most part. By the end of the few days of watching them, she warmed up to me and would sit on my lap and beg for pets!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I myself am very catlike, so I totally understand when some cats can be a bit skiddish. Usually just letting them relax and feel comfortable around you and not trying to force them into anything works over time!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
