Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have three kitties myself. I have Buster a 15 year old tabby, Orange Juice a 13 year old orange tabby, and Ham Skywalker who is a 7 year old longhair tripod kitty. I love those boys so much!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I would love to have an initial meet and greet with you and your fur baby before coming to care for them. This will help me be more familiar with their areas of the home as well as getting the kitty more comfortable with my presence in their space before the owner is gone.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am typically available any holiday. Usually I’m available for once or twice daily visits, very few holidays I may only be available once a day but that will be communicated before any visits are booked.

Keely was absolutely fantastic! We have an indoor cat who requires medication applied to her ear, and I was so nervous because she doesn't let anyone touch her. To my amazement, Keely not only earned her trust but was able to give her medication without any problems. By the end of our trip, Pumpkin absolutely adored her—even rolling over and showing her belly, which is something she rarely does! We also care for a semi-feral cat, and Keely was just as wonderful with him. She made sure he was fed, cared for, and happy while we were away. It gave us such peace of mind knowing our cats were in such caring, capable hands. Keely truly went above and beyond, and it's obvious she has a special gift with animals. We couldn't recommend her more highly and will definitely be using her again!

Keely was awesome with our kitties while we took an extended camping trip. By day 2, she had charmed even our skittish old gal. Keely took care of all of our cat’s needs, and kept us up to date each visit with details and pictures. We will definitely request her again in the near future.

I have two male cats and needed a cat sitter kind of last minute for two weeks back to back and over a holiday. Meowtel made it so easy to see the sitters in my area with availability. I selected Keely because I saw in her profile that she has experience working in a vets office as well as having cats herself. Even though my booking was only a few days before I needed her, she promptset up a time to come by to meet my boys and grab a key beforehand. She kept me updated with pictures and comments throughout my booking, letting me know how my boys were doing. I appreciated the photos each day as I miss my boys when I travel 🙂 Keely did a great job and I could have asked for a better cat sitter. Will definitely be using her again and recommend her to anyone in the Winston Salem area.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Winston Salem cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $24.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
