I've gained hands on experience by caring for cats of friends and family, as well as introducing a guest cat into my home with my own two kitties... Hi! I'm Jessica! I'm a thoughtful and attentive cat sitter who truly enjoys getting to know each cat's unique personality, routine, and preferences. I believe in making every visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible whether that means playtime, cuddles, or simply quiet companionship, all based on what your cat enjoys most.
I've gained hands on experience by caring for cats of friends and family, as well as introducing a guest cat into my home with my own two kitties. With patience, slow introductions, and lots of positive reinforcement, I was able to create a peaceful environment.
I start each visit by greeting your kitty and making my presence known. Then I check on the food, water and tidy the litter box. If anything seems off, I'll update you right away. I'll spend the rest of the visit however your cat prefers such as playtime, cuddles or snacks.
What sets me apart is my love for feline behavior, attention to detail, and my commitment to respecting each cat's boundaries. I also keep pet parents in the loop with updates and cute photos, so you know how your fur baby is doing. I know every cat is different, and I'm here to make sure they feel safe, loved and cared for while you're away!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I've been cat sitting since 2020, mostly for friends and family and I absolutely love it! I've cared for cats in their homes, as well as welcomed a friend's cat into my apartment alongside my two resident kitties. I'm very comfortable learning each cat's unique routine and respecting their space. One of my proudest moments was helping my sister's two cats adjust to staying in my home, with lots of patience and slow introductions it was a success! I specialize in reading cat body language and building trust at their pace. For now, I prefer in home visits to help cats feel safe and secure in their own space.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most about cat sitting is getting to play with the cats and it's the highlight of every visit! I also love learning about each cat's unique personality, routine and lifestyle. Every kitty has their own little world, and it's so fun to see how different cats are cared for. I always pick up new ideas whether it's a cool toy, a fun feeding routine or a clever enrichement trick. It's like a peek into different feline lives and I absolutely love it!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two kitties of my own. My first cat her name is Star and she has been with me since 2020. She was rescued as a kitten after getting stuck in a tree and needing care for several infections. Helping her heal and adjust to indoor life taught me how resilient cats are and how important it is to stay on top of their health with love and consistency. My second cat is Zoro. He came from a cat cafe and is very shy but loves cuddles. He takes mealtime very seriously! He has shown me just how much cats thrive with routine and patience. They both continue to teach me something new every day!

Jessica is very knowledgable about cat behavior and her interaction with my scared and shy kitty was stellar! She did not push, used a soft voice, and allowed Melody to come to her when she was ready. This alone is enough to reach a five star rating. However, Jessica goes beyond this and reassures the human guardian of her care by sending pics and videos. This allowed me to relax while i was away and relieve any anxious thoughts about the care of my cat companion. I highly recommend Jessica as your next cat sitter!

She follows instructions well and is consistent with her updates. my kitties enjoy laying on the balcony and getting vitamin D and fresh air, which is especially important for me while I’m gone for weeks at a time, so if you’re like me I recommend going with someone else given Jessica adheres to meowtel’s recommendation, but if you don’t care about that, I highly recommend her.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Lincoln cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $22.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Jessica is a phenomenal sitter. She is gentle enough that even our rescue kitty warmed to her. She is detail oriented and thinks two steps ahead. Furthermore, she didn’t cut corners and you can tell she truly cares. Jessica is willing to go above and beyond where others won’t (cleaned up throw up, swept litter, checked house when it hailed etc).
