I am a lifelong cat lover with hands on experience caring for cats of all ages and personalities. Growing up, I had two cats, including one who lives into their senior years, which taught me the importance of patience, attentiveness and adapting care to each cats unique needs.
Today, I am a proud owner of a shy and timid cat who required extra patience, understanding, and attention. Helping my cat feel safe and comfortable has given me valuable experience working with anxious, cautious, and reserved cats. I know how important it is to let each cat warm up at their own pace!
Whether your cat is playful and social or prefers their own space, I’ll make sure they receive the care they need. I know how stressful it is to leave your pet and I would love to help you while you are away!!!

I have grown up with two black cats, Tuukah and Luna and I now have one cat myself and her name is Allycat!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like to start by getting to know both the cat and their parent!! Before the first visit, I’ll go over the cat’s routine, personality, feeding schedule, favorite toys, and any special instructions. I also like to ask about anything that helps the cat feel comfortable and safe. During each visit, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, give them plenty of attention and affection (on their terms!), and keep their space clean and comfortable. I’ll send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your cat is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I know how stressful it is!!!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I know with experience from my own cat Ally, I always let them set the pace. I never force interaction and give them plenty of time and space to feel comfortable with me. I’ll use a calm voice, move slowly, and look for little signs that they’re ready to interact. Even if a cat spends the first few visits hiding, I’m happy to simply sit nearby, talk to them, and make sure they’re eating, drinking, and comfortable. My goal is to build trust and help them feel safe and secure while their parent is away.

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
