Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have two indoor cats. They are sisters named Bean and Nugget! Each has her own personality, of course, but they are both sweet, confident, talkative and full of love. Beanie loves food, hugs and meeting new people. Nugget loves Greenies, cuddling in bed, sun puddles and chirping at birds. I recently adopted two Backyard Buddies from the Monmouth County SPCA. They love lounging on my deck, come every morning and evening for food, and have their own special outdoor shelter. They're orange and white boys named Kohrs and Custard!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Look for someone who has cats of her own. People involved with rescue groups are particularly compassionate and dedicated. I also think it’s a good idea to choose someone very local who can easily accommodate your schedule.

What is your favorite cat toy?

I love watching cats play with little stuffed mice, birds or other critters, especially with catnip in them. But the best interactive toys are wands! My kitties love a rainbow colored snake attached to a wand. They go crazy for it whether I slide it along the floor or hold it up for them to jump for!

Laura was great! my cat, Daisy, is super shy and as predicted she didn’t come out to say hi to Laura for the first few days. but what I couldn’t predict is she came out to greet Laura after a day or two! That’s how I know Laura is a great caretaker and the best person to take care of your cat! if daisy trusts you then I trust you! can’t recommend Laura enough!

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
