I understand every cat is different, and I truly enjoy getting to know each cat and finding the best way to bond with them... I have years of experience caring for cats of all ages, personalities, and needs, both as a cat owner myself and as a sitter for others. Iām comfortable with all cat types ranging from young playful energetic cats all the way to shy or senior cats that will need patience and space to warm up on terms they set.

I understand every cat is different, and I truly enjoy getting to know each cat and finding the best way to bond with them. I also do my best to follow their established routines so their day-to-day life is disrupted as little as possible while their owner is away. Sometimes a shy cat just needs time and space to eventually warm up to me, and it is a great feeling to start sitting being told I will never see the shy cat, and by day two they are coming out for pets and play with me.
Along with the standards of feeding and fresh water along with play and litter box care I have experience with various brands of automatic litter robots and have even found myself completing repairs on them when needed. I also keep a close eye for changes in behavior or appetite.
Lastly, I love taking photos and videos of cats and will make sure to provide clear updates along with the best cat photos possible. I know how much I miss my own cat when Iām away, and how much I appreciate getting those updates myself.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have 7 years experience cat sitting. During that time I have owned my own cats and cared for others. I have experience with kittens through seniors, shy to high energy, and experience with special diets and injections for diabetic cats.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Meeting new cats that I get to bond with, and knowing I am providing cat parents with lots of photos and updates so they arenāt worried about the cat in a way that I appreciate when Iām away from my cat.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have one chaos cat named Eugene. He is extreme high energy and makes everyday interesting and filled with laughs even when he sometimes gets into mischief.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Belmar cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
