My kitty's name is Sesame - he is a 1.5 year old black cat and I adore him! He loves to chase his own tail, watch me cook in the kitchen, and chirp at birds through the window.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I will work with you to identify and meet all your needs -- I want to know about your cat(s)' personalities, likes, dislikes, and everything else! I also will ask you about the tasks that you need me to complete while I am catsitting and how often, whether that is scooping, feeding wet/dry food, or administering medication. I want to make sure that you feel comfortable leaving your kitty in my hands, and will answer any and all questions you have.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I understand that cats can be scared of new people -- I never force a cat to interact with me if they indicate that they are scared or stressed. I will try to gain their trust by being near them, letting them sniff my hands, or offering treats (if that is okay). I know the process of gaining trust can be slow!

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
