I have a strong bond with cats and they are drawn to me as well. I think they feel how much I love them. I like to keep the routine that they are used to with their family and I also like to take my time and spend time with them so they feel happy while their family is away.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I enjoy meeting and taking care of cats while their families goes on vacation so I can help them not feel so lonely.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

I would find someone who you feel comfortable with and you like how they interact with you kitties. Also make sure they are competent and know what they are doing.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I always make sure I am careful around any doors so no kitties may slip out and I never leave any door open that should not be open. I am very careful about leaving everything locked up the way the customer likes

Robin has been fantastic with my two cats while I have been away on a family emergency. She drops in every day to feed, water and keep a eye on the cats. One of my boys is super shy and she has brought him around to trust her during her daily visits.

We were super worried about leaving our cat Bruce behind for our trip to Europe for our wedding. Right from the start Robin was positive and reassuring. She sent us pictures and updates everyday she was here that made my wife and I feel so much better about leaving. Robin treated Bruce like her own and I know Bruce was happy she was around. Robin was very knowledgeable about cats also. She has run a shelter herself and her level of expertise shows. Robin very much exceeded expectations. She offered to take garbage out and water the plants. She was communicative from the very beginning and we couldn’t be happier for choosing her to watch our cat. If I could give her more stars I would.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
