I’m a huge cat lover so any time I cat sit, I love to play with the cats if they’re up for it... My name is Ash. I’ve had cats all of my life. I currently have 4 cats ranging from 2 years old to 12 years old. I love to play with them and snuggle them. I’ve gone through my share of medical issues with them, so I have a lot of experience giving cats pills, injections, topicals, liquids, nose drops, and ear drops.
I’m a huge cat lover so any time I cat sit, I love to play with the cats if they’re up for it. I do like to do meet and greets to get a better idea of the cats temperament, how they like to be approached, and any other info about your cat to make the visit as less stressful as possible.
When I’m not spending time with cats, I’m working as a delivery driver for Amazon. I also facilitate sound baths and am in school for HVAC.
I have experience with feral cats, shelter cats, and indoor cats. I helped a colony of feral cats by doing trap and release. It was incredibly rewarding.
I have a deep love for cats and will treat your cats like I treat my own. I find different ways to engage cats, and I believe that cats need enrichment activities to have a great life, along with lots of love! I look forward to meeting you and your cats!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been cat sitting for 4 years now. I’ve met a lot of amazing cats! I’ve had some cats that hid a lot and many cats that needed daily medication. No matter the cat, I’ve always enjoyed my time with them and kept the cat parents updated with pictures and detailed updates of the visit.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 4 cats. Josie, Marley, Jerry, and Chowder. Josie is my oldest and Chowder is my youngest. I call them the four furry fools.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I give cats the space they need. If a cat is nervous, I’ll sit on the floor with them and let them come to me. I never approach an anxious or timid cat. I’ve found that makes them more anxious. By giving them time to sniff me and make sure I’m safe, I’ve had a lot of success with the cats wanting to come out and get some pets.

My experience with Ash was 10/10, and I would highly recommend!! Ash was absolutely amazing with my 2 senior cats and completely put my worries at ease by being communicative and reliable. My cats have dietary restrictions, one of them is on medications for health problems, and one has litter box issues, yet Ash was able to handle it all with ease. I’m thankful that I found a sitter who makes my cats feel so comfortable when they can be very shy at times. They loved Ash!!

My cat is extremely skittish with new people and Ash went above and beyond trying to connect with him. By the end of her time with him he was purring, although burrowing underrated blanketcwhere he always stayed with her. he ate well and had plenty of treats. My home was neat and clean when I returned. I look forward to having Ash cat sit for me again.

Ashley was so fantastic with our 6 year old cat Blue. She fed her twice a day and followed our instructions for portions and mixes of foods and treats, cleaned her litters, filled her waters and played with her. She also went above & beyond and fed our turtles and fish, brought in a package and used our alarm system to arm the house each time she left. We had peace of mind while away for 5 days because of how great Ashley was with Blue and how detailed her updates were. Her experience with cats is apparent and Blue absolutely loved her. I think when we returned home, Blue was actually disappointed that it wasn't Ashley walking through the door. I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a cat sitter!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Plainsboro cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $27.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
