What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I've been around cats and all kinds of pets for a very long time! I grew up riding horses and all of my friends and family have a variety of pets that needed tending!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Getting to know each kitties personality! They're all so unique and fun to get to know. Cats don't love everyone and it's a treat to earn their trust! 💘

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have one cat. I've always had large grey tabby cats- my original one was named Elmer, then I had Ricki Bobby and now I have Finley. They stay with me forever ❤️

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Trust is the most important! Your guy feeling is usually correct. Don't be afraid to ask questions! They are basically our children!

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

Finding out the cats routine and what they like and don't like. Cats are SO individual so it is important to treat them that way!

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

Great question! Lock all the doors and make sure lights are turned on or off accordingly! Make sure the key is back where it belongs. Make sure all cats are accounted for and feeling good!

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes! Having my own animals and horses keep me generally local for holidays. I am flexible with my schedule because of that.

What is your favorite cat toy?

The Catcaster is pretty cool! It is like a fishing pole for cats to play with 🎣 They can get pretty crazy about it and get quite a workout so sometimes you need to be careful with how much you cast !

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

Always let them approach you. Let them smell you and don't make any sudden movements. Sit with them and "just be". If the owners give them treats, you can offer them one once they've warmed up to you.

Stacy was absolutely a gem. My cats loved her. I never met her due to my schedule although she very much made sure I had the option but I have never felt more safe and comfortable having someone in my home. She is truly a cat lover and an honest, caring person. I have peace of mind knowing I have established this relationship with her and my cats were searching for her even when we came back. Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
