What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

In my opinion, the best part about cat sitting is meeting each and every cat and getting to spend time with such unique and independent creatures. Cats have their own personalities and quirks, and it’s always a pleasure to watch them and learn more! Building trust, and to see how they interact with their environment. Each cat has its own rhythm, and it’s rewarding to help them feel comfortable and cared for, even if it’s just for a short time.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes! I have a cat named Loki, a 6-year-old tabby, and he’s my best friend in the whole wide world! He saved me, and I saved him, together we have been inseparable! This summer, we shared the most magical memories together! We traveled all the way to Italy, where my husband and I got married! We spent our wedding and honeymoon with Loki by our side. We explored Italy for a month, and Loki had an absolute blast! We truest do everything together and it is so fun!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

With timid or anxious cats, patience is key! I try to create a calm and safe environment where they can feel in control of their space. I start by giving them time to adjust, avoiding any sudden movements or loud noises, and letting them come to me on their own terms. I offer treats and gentle, quiet interactions, like sitting nearby and letting them approach me when they’re ready. Keeping a consistent routine—like feeding and playtime at the same time each day—can also help build their confidence. And if they like, I’ll give them a cozy spot to retreat to, like a soft bed or a quiet corner, so they can feel secure while still being close. Each cat is different, but with time and trust, they usually start to feel more comfortable and show their true personalities!

Kari is wonderful, she gave us confidence that our Kitties were being taken care of while we were away. The best way to describe using Kari is that it is like using a trusted family member to care for your kitties, someone that loves them as much as you do. She sends pictures and videos every day and is great with complex instructions as our cats are not yet integrated and had to be kept separate while she cared for them which is not easy.

she contacted me immediately after she confirmed the reservation. She was friendly, listened to what my plans were, and agreed to a meet and greet the next day. She watched my cats for five days and I will use her services forever. She checked in every day with photos and videos, all the while taking great care of my three cats. They took to her immediately. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
