I’ve been watching cats as a hobby for about eight years now, and have cared for all kinds of felines with differing personalities, from playful kittens to senior cats needing a little extra attention. Every one of them is unique, and I always do my best to make them feel calm, happy, and loved when their owners are away.
I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind when you travel, so I will keep you updated with messages and photos. You can relax knowing your fur babies are in good hands!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I began cat sitting as a hobby a bit over eight years ago, but I officially began pursuing it as a career in 2024. I have always felt such a special connection with cats, so much so that a friend, whose 3 senior kitties were my first official clients, nicknamed me "The Cat Auntie". Now, two and a half years later, I have a wonderful group of regular clients and can honestly say that I'm working the best job of my life!

I am a proud cat mom of four wonderful kitties of my own! • Bo Nugget: My handsome and fluffy 8-year-old tuxedo boy. • Sylvie: 5-years-old and the sweetest void (black cat) you could ever meet! • Minnie: My 4-year-old calico angel baby. • Ophelia: A 3-year-old little gray menace who always keeps me on my toes!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Typically, I will bring my planner/calendar with me to the first meeting I have with a new client. I will ask them several questions, like what their kitty's daily routine looks like, any behavioral quirks, and their health history. Any essential information (such as veterinary and emergency contact info) I will write down. I try to be as thorough as I can and ask for as many details as necessary to ensure that I can provide the best care possible.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Elko cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $20.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
