I’ve built my own cat-sitting business over the years I have watched hundreds of kitties and have built strong relationships with both pet parents and their pets alike. My experience includes everything from routine drop-in care and litter box maintenance to playtime, enrichment, detailed updates and photos, and medication administration. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, subcutaneous injections, inhalers and following specific care instructions and schedules.
I’m dependable, attentive, and very detail oriented. When you’re away, I want you to feel confident that your cat is not only being cared for, but genuinely being looked after.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been professionally caring for cats for nearly a decade and have built my own dedicated cat-sitting business over the years. I’ve completed hundreds of visits. I’m experienced with cats of all personalities and comfort levels, as well as medication administration, detailed care instructions, and maintaining a cat’s normal routine while their family is away. My love for cats goes back much further than my professional experience. I’ve had cats my entire life, including caring for kittens who were born in my own yard and helping them grow. My very first pet, Mr. Gray, and I was incredibly lucky to have him live long enough to meet my son. Watching the bond they formed was incredibly special to me. Cats are honestly my spirit animal. ❤️
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I treat both the cat and the home with the same level of care I would expect for my own. I double check doors and windows before leaving, make sure cats are safely inside, and follow the owner’s instructions regarding food, medications, access to specific rooms, and any other household routines. I’m also very attentive to changes in a cat’s behavior, appetite, litter box habits, or overall condition and will communicate promptly if something seems unusual. I provide photos and updates during visits so owners know their cat is safe and doing well.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I never force interaction with a nervous cat. I give them time and space to approach me on their own terms, while still making sure all of their care needs are met. I use a calm voice, slow movements, and patience to help them feel comfortable. Over the years, I’ve had many shy cats who initially hid from me but eventually began coming out to greet me. I think one of my biggest strengths is being able to read a cat’s body language and adjust my approach to their individual personality.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Las Vegas cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
