I know every cat has a different personality, so I try to match their vibe. If your cat is playful, we’ll do toys and playtime. If they’re shy, I’ll give them space and let them warm up at their own pace.
During visits I’ll handle feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, and I can also make sure everything around the house looks good if that makes you comfortable. I’m happy to send photo updates too, so you know your cat is doing well... You can call me Sam! I’m a genuine cat lover and have had cats throughout my entire life. I’m the type of person who truly enjoys spending time with cats, not just stopping by to refill a bowl and leave.

I’m patient, reliable and very attentive to small changes in behavior. I’m no Jackson Galaxy, but after living with cats for over 30 years, I definitely know how to handle them.
What sets me apart is that I treat visits like actual quality time spent with your cat, not just a quick task. That’s exactly what I would want if I were looking for a sitter myself. I want them to feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away.
(Please give at least one day notice before booking so we can meet and greet. Even though my calendar says available, I may not be able to make it the day of. I’d prefer to meet before the day of the sitting to get to know you and the kitties)

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve sat for multiple people through this app already (i’ve also been called back for them multiple times), and each time has been a success. When I was younger, I worked at three different vet clinics. I currently don’t live with any cats, but I do babysit my brother’s cat quite often, who is a munchkin cat (photos included in my profile). My ex and I had three cats, one was 21 years old who recently passed, so I know how to care for elderly kitties as well.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Every cat has their own unique personality and I think spending time with different cats would be enjoyable. Anytime I cat sit for my brother, she’ll give me attention when she’s ready so it’s nice to just relax and watch TV, play some games or do work. I currently work hybrid, so I spend a lot of time at home which would make cat sitting easy for me.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
I’d say find someone who genuinely likes cats and is patient w/ different personalities. It also helps to choose someone who will actually spend a little time with your cat during visits instead of just doing the basics and leaving. Clear communication and updates are always a plus, too.
What is your favorite cat toy?
There’s so many I like, but my favorite is simple: the feather on a fishing rod. Watching the cats go crazy for that is incredibly entertaining. Fleur would grab the feather and drag the stick down the hallway. Every time I’d laugh out loud hearing the stick dragging on the floor.

Samantha did such an amazing job while we were gone for 4 days taking care of our 4 cats and our bird! She bonded well with everyone and she was sweet enough to buy snacks and toys for the cats to make sure they were loved while we were gone. She sent pic's and videos of the cats playing and lounging so we could see them while on our trip and that was nice to see them having a good time and enjoying some company. She did a great job feeding and cleaning up throughout the week as well. We would highly suggest Samantha to anybody looking for a great pet sitter while they are away on any trips in the future! Thank you so much for your time and effort Samantha!!!

Samantha was absolutely incredible and put me completely at ease! Usually I’m stressed when traveling, but she made it so that I didn’t have to worry at all. Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027
Samantha's holiday surcharge is 5%.
Schedule Constraints
I work from home Mon, wed and Thursday. But I can stop by any time those days with the WFH flexibility. Tuesday I’m in office, but any time after 5pm I’m free.
Friday-sun I’m off and free all day!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Las Vegas cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
