How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
My first priority upon arrival at your home is to ensure the safety and well-being of your beloved pet. I create a soothing environment, speaking calmly and addressing them by name, reassuring them of my trustworthy presence. I meticulously secure the premises, ensuring all doors are closed and locked before leaving. Your pet's safety and security are my utmost concern, and I consistently provide updates, accompanied by heartwarming videos and photos, during my visits. This allows you to enjoy an stress-free vacation or business trip, knowing your pet is happy and secure.
Are you usually available during holidays?
As my schedule fluctuates based on the number of kitties under my care and their individual needs, I am flexible and able to adapt to all schedules, giving precedence to those that necessitate earlier attention. This includes holidays
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I’ve learned that each kitty has their own personality and not all of them will be as friendly so when I know that one of the cats is not as friendly, I always make sure to come in first thing with a soft voice talking to them while I continue on with the normal chores that are needed to be done so that your kitty can be comfortable and feel safe while I am there. I will find toys and treats if any to see if they will come out and say hi and if they still don’t want to be as social I still talk or seeing while I’m there and just say goodbye and tell them I’ll see them tomorrow and we will try again the next day. There’s never any pressure or force for your baby to be social or loving.I am very aware of every kitties

Zianna is absolutely wonderful and by far my favorite cat sitter! I always try to book her first because I know my cats and my home are in great hands with her. She is extremely attentive and consistently follows all of their dietary and feeding instructions. She makes sure their water fountain is clean and filled, changes the Litter-Robot bag frequently, checks that the robot is functioning properly, and even looks around for any accidents and cleans them up. What I appreciate most, though, is how genuinely sweet and loving she is with my cats. She doesn’t just come in and complete a checklist—she spends substantial time playing with them, giving them attention and affection, and letting them enjoy some supervised fresh air on the patio. She is also incredibly consistent with communication. She always sends me photos and videos around the same time each day, which is so reassuring when I’m away. I never have to wonder how they’re doing or whether they’ve been taken care of—I get regular updates and can actually see that they’re happy and comfortable. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing they’re being genuinely cared for and loved while I’m away. Zianna is reliable, thorough, consistent, caring, and someone I completely trust with my cats. I highly recommend her and will continue booking her first whenever she’s available!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

North Las Vegas cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
