4... Thank you for visiting my profile! Since I was born, I have always had a love for cats, and always had a cat in my life. When I was young I wanted to be a veterinarian, and would bring my “cat book” when going on play dates with my friends, showing them the different breeds and which were my favorites. I just adopted a kitten, Yuki, who is a sweet and playful Siberian boy!
When I visit your cat(s) you can be assured I will do the following on each visit:
1. Provide food and water, and treats if allowed in moderation.
2. Clean up the litter box.
3. Play, socialize with, or keep them company!
4. I love photography - and will send at least 5+ photos to you of your cats in their best light!
5. Provide detailed check ins everyday.
6. Help with watering plants, checking on things such as temperature, mail, etc.
I am a very calm, approachable person who understands cats often need their space, and the importance of their independence and comfortability around humans. I understand how important building trust with cats is and how to adapt to cats with different personalities and needs. I would treat your cat as my own and ensure they have everything they need to feel safe, loved, and attended to, and ensure constant communication with you to make you feel comfortable.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I do! I just adopted a kitten, Yuki. He is an all white Siberian boy, who loves playing fetch and cuddling! My family also owns a female Tabby, and her name is Maisel (although she goes by Maze, Mrs. Maisel, Maisie, and a variety of others). Growing up I owned a female calico by the name of Molly, and a Siamese mix, Maybelline, whom I had in my life for 16 years. Life isn’t complete without a cat:)
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
My process would begin by asking lots of questions about the cat. What is their temperament and personality? Do they prefer to be left alone, or engaged in play? How often do they need to be fed? Do they have any medical concerns or things to watch out for? I’d start by having a deep understanding of the cat and how they prefer to be taken care of, and would establish communication methods for emergencies or concerns.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Establishing trust with a cat is vital. I am a very calm and approachable person and make sure that comes across for the cat. I like to hold my hand out and let the cat come to me when they are ready, being extra cautious to not overstimulate them or make them nervous. I would make sure I was keeping an eye on them while letting them practice their independence and what makes them feel comfortable.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving

- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Bayside cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
