What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love spending time with cats and getting to know their individual quirks and personalities. One of my favorite parts of cat sitting is seeing a shy cat gradually become comfortable with me or engaging in playtime with a curious, energetic kitty. Knowing I can help reduce their stress while giving owners peace of mind makes cat sitting incredibly rewarding.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have a family cat named Nala who lives with my parents. Sheās a 9-year-old Egyptian Mau and truly my whole world. ā¤ļø Sheās full of personality and has taught me that every cat is so unique. Being her human has given me a real appreciation for how important patience, trust, and routine are for cats. I know how much our pets mean to us, so when Iām caring for someone elseās cat, I treat them with the same love, attention, and care that Iād want for Nala. I genuinely love getting to know each catās little quirks and helping them feel safe and comfortable while their family is away.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Keeping your cat and your home safe is always my top priority. I carefully follow your instructions and stick to your catās normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. Before leaving each visit, I make sure doors and windows are locked, fresh food and water are available, the litter box is clean, and I do a quick check to make sure your cat is safe and accounted for. Iām also mindful of anything that could pose a hazard, like open doors, unsafe items, or anything out of the ordinary. I know how much trust it takes to leave someone with your pet and your home, and I take that responsibility very seriously. Iāll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your cat is doing

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
